Accredited testing guide
PILETA Co., Ltd. is a testing laboratory accredited under the Korea Laboratory Accreditation Scheme (KOLAS), Accreditation No. KT921. From request to test report, testing follows a five-step process in line with international standards.

From request to test report, accredited testing proceeds in five steps in line with international standards.
- Step 1
Request
Send your test request by email (pileta@pileta.co.kr) or call us at +82-42-368-0180. Including the test items, sample information and preferred schedule helps us respond faster.
- Step 2
Review and quotation
The assigned test engineer reviews your request and contacts you by phone or email. Together we review and agree on the test method (applicable standards), specimen requirements, schedule and cost.
- Step 3
Contract
A contract (purchase order) is concluded on the agreed terms. The test is confirmed when the samples are received.
- Step 4
Testing
Tests are performed in accordance with KOLAS accreditation procedures and our quality management system. The assigned test engineer keeps you informed of progress.
- Step 5
Test report
When testing is complete, we issue a KOLAS-accredited test report. KOLAS is a signatory to the ILAC Mutual Recognition Arrangement (ILAC MRA), which facilitates the acceptance of accredited test reports in other signatory economies.

KOLAS-accredited test items
PILETA holds KOLAS accreditation for a total of 25 test items and performs demanding tests in-house, including thermomechanical fatigue (TMF), fracture toughness and fatigue crack growth rate (FCGR) testing.

Test Reports & ILAC MRA
Test reports and the ILAC MRA
For accredited tests, PILETA issues KOLAS-accredited test reports. KOLAS is a signatory to the ILAC Mutual Recognition Arrangement (ILAC MRA), which facilitates the acceptance of accredited test reports in other signatory economies. Our accredited test reports can support submissions to overseas clients, licensing and permitting, and reliability verification in the aerospace and defense sectors.
Test reports can be sent by post or email, or collected in person. English-language test reports are available on request.
Turnaround & Quotation
Turnaround time and quotation
Turnaround time depends on the test items, the number of specimens and the test conditions (temperature and load). Creep and fatigue tests in particular take a long time to run, so we provide an estimated schedule at the review and quotation step.
Expedited Testing
If you need expedited testing, please state this in your request. We will confirm availability based on the equipment schedule.
Check Your Request
To check the status of your request, contact the assigned test engineer or email pileta@pileta.co.kr. Requests submitted through the online form on our Korean site can be checked there with the email address or phone number and the password entered at submission.
